Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand - A Job Offer

Here’s an email that I sent to Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand this week.

Dear Jonathan and Russell,

I was saddened to learn of the bizarre events that have befallen you this week. Neither of you are strangers to having the BBC and the tabloids on your back but being suspended and having to resign... jesus... was Fawlty Towers really that good?!

Anyway, I am writing to you with an offer which I hope you will both consider. Allow me to explain...

I, Along with some liked minded friends, run a podcast / Internet Radio station called Kooba Radio. We focus on playing unsigned and small label bands that have been overlooked by larger media outlets. We also specialise in uncensored humorous chat. Did you catch the keyword there? Uncensored! After having been BBC boys for so long, can you actually imagine what that would be like??

We've been doing what we do for 6 years now and we've built up quite a fan base. Small, I'm sure, compared to the beeb but people love us and we can say what ever we want.

Here are just a few examples of things that Jonny Yeah, our most infamous DJ has gotten away with...
  • Speedo or Peado, a game in which contestants guess whether a person is a swimmer or a registered sex offender
  • Win Lose or Whore, a game in which contestants listen to audio clips of pornography from Jonny's personal collection and attempt to guess what is being done and to whom.
  • Broadband Aid, a direct rival to the abysmal Band Aid 20, in which the country's top unsigned bands contributed their talents to a mammoth punk/ska version of the famous 1984 charity single.
  • Bugsy Malloy, our radio play based on 'Malone' but with our own humour injected into it.
  • Prank phone calls (which we know you are a fan of) to other radio stations. Turning the tables on the likes of BBC1, BBC London and LBC
Anyway, that's just a few of them.

If you would be interested in ditching the outdated draconian regime of the Beeb and joining a team of hard working ego maniacs with a true love of humour and music... well you know where to find us don't you. I reckon you would both fit in nicely.

All the best.
